The Ministry of Defence has officially announced the commencement of work by the investigation Board tasked with probing the recent Z-9 helicopter crash.
The Board, chaired by the National Security Coordinator, comprises members from the Ghana Air Force and the Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation and Prevention Bureau of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).
The United States of America is lending technical support to the investigation, with visiting experts from the U.S. Air Force working alongside the team. The Board also retains the option of inviting additional expert institutions, both local and international, to assist in the inquiry.
