Vybz Kartel eyes Accra Sports Stadium for first-ever Africa Concert
Jamaican dancehall legend Adidja Palmer, popularly known in the entertainment industry as Vybz Kartel, is reportedly planning a historic concert in Accra, Ghana, this December, potentially his first major performance in Africa.
This was revealed by SportyFm and shared by Ghanaian sports broadcaster Gary Al-Smith in a post on social media, that Vybz Kartel has officially written to the National Sports Authority (NSA) requesting the availability of the Accra Sports Stadium for a major December concert, a venue which previously hosted Ghanaian music stars like Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

The event could be one of Ghana’s biggest global concerts yet if the request is granted.
This revelation builds on Kartel’s recent collaborations with Ghanaian dancehall icon Shatta Wale, who was invited to perform at Kartel’s homecoming concert in Jamaica last December following the latter’s release from prison.
