Ghanaian self-acclaimed dancehall star Shatta Wale has been hit with fresh allegations of fraud from one of his longtime collaborators, M.O.G Beatz, who claims the artist has been falsely taking credit for songs produced by others to secure international deals.

In a strongly worded statement circulating online, M.O.G Beatz accused Shatta Wale of claiming production rights to several songs created by him and other beatmakers, allegedly to obtain advance payments from an international company without the knowledge and consent of the rightful producers.

According to the statement, two of Shatta Wale’s albums have already been pulled down from digital platforms, with more takedowns expected in the coming weeks. The producer further alleged that Shatta Wale failed to pay or even provide agreement to the producers whose work he claimed as his own.

“Sell your assets and refund the company you scammed. Leasing your catalog just to survive? Thats the path you chose This time, the talk will come with action,” the staement read..
