In a heartwarming display of leadership and compassion, Hon. Nikyema Billa Alamzy, Member of Parliament for the Chiana-Paga Constituency, has donated GHS12,000 to support Master Tangom Maxwell, a medical student at the University of Ghana, Legon.
The generous contribution was made earlier today on behalf of the Member of Parliament by the constituency Chairman of the NDC and received by the mother of Master Tangom Maxwell.
The amount is expected to cover tuition, hostel, and other academic-related expenses for the entire academic year, while also pledging to renew his support every academic year until Master Tangom Maxwell completes his studies. Hon. Nikyema Billa Alamzy also promised a monthly stipend for feeding.
The mother of Maxwell expressed her excitement and appreciation to the Member of Parliament for his timely support, stating that the burden of responsibility had become overwhelming and that her son was on the verge of dropping out of school.
